Custom Assemblies

Here at P&J, our Assembly department performs finished processes, including but not limited to:

• Shrink Fitting of Bushings
• Solid and Blind Riveting
• Complex and/or multiple level assemblies
• Reaming installed bushings to specific dimensioning (including in-line bushing pairs)
• Swaging (roller), Anvil staking, Ball or Point staking, Swaged sleeve retention of Bearings
• Electrical component installations
• Bonding / sealing of multiple details

We also utilize shadow boards, and kitting of our tooling, to improve setup times and production.  Setup sheets, detailing step-by-step instructions are available to standardize quality of work.  Our Assembly department coordinates with all other manufacturing / finish departments to maintain on-time delivery of our product.  Constant review of our processes and specifications outlined by our customers allows us the confidence in the highest quality product.  In addition, we’re always looking toward the future in assembly techniques and processes to remain at the forefront of newer technologies to meet our customer’s needs.
